What have I been reading recently, What I conceive around twitter and why blogging is the best.
I have been reading a lot of great new blogs lately. I am still waiting to decide about all the twitter flap. I still relish blogs and have over 1000 in my feed reader.
The thing about blogs is that you can find hidden treasures, and they are from people that in reality like to can write.
Sure you can discover some groovy souls on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for people with attention defecit disorder or who dont like to write genuine posts. Yes, loads of people twitter and also blog, and those people are cool by me, but I am forever and eternally a blog fan.
Blogs push the author to really articluate their feeling. Twitter however merely lets you to say it. Call me old fashioned but I reckon there is a point where smaller is no longer nicer. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Peculiarly when it comes to technology. Surely there has to be a point where we figure substance counts. Value matters. What do you think?
Possibly the practical answer rests in balance. And compromise. You cannot pressure people to have marrow and not be superficial. But, too maybe you need to push the navel gazing hippies to lighten up a fraction aswell?
