The Toss n’ Turn: Triumph over Balding with Synthetic Lace Wigs

Our group of friends never imagined the beautiful and confident Chandra Sharp, my life-long soul mate, could own and wear lace front wigs. Her extravagant hair added so much to her attitude. Get this. The woman will be eternally the center of attention because of her trademark toss ‘n turn. Not many in town can tell she confidently masks her medical hair loss under wigs. It’s not so unusual.

As blossoming ladies in Arizona, we once knocked ‘em dead. In our twenties her alopecia reared its head and she became nearly bald. I did hint at a few lace front wigs. Whatever, balding was no big deal to her. Unfazed by medical hair loss, she took the time and showcased her threadbare confidence.

Attending our alma mater’s homecoming, we heckled till someone clumsily slapped the ball (or whichever thing that is) towards the fans. My bff dove for the ball and her cute little hat flew right off, unveiling her hair (or lack thereof). Totally upreturbed, she lobbed it playfully to the game official. Attitude, did I mention she’s got it?

Of course, nobody is perfect. Months later she invited me over for a “Gilmore Girls” binge, when she very sincerely confided that she opts to make do with a shorn head out of bitterness. She could never look at human hair wigs, secretly acknowledging she wanted her hair back. Then just like that miss invincible grew embarrassed and begged that I drop it. So I did.

I wanted to help so bad. Later on, I asked her about getting her a new wig. Finally we came to an agreement: we’d buy each other wigs One for me and one for her.

She and I were amazed by the fashionable styles. We never imagined that women’s medical wigs could be so natural for so many women. These lace wigs complimented her natural beauty. As for me, arranged an entirely modern set of outfits to wear with my synthetic wig. We stand together, you know. For my birthday she thanked me for invisible lace front wig, and disclosed that it brought about a fresh spirit for many occasions. It’s heartwarming to realize my best friend strut her stuff like never before. Can’t wait to see that infamous “toss ‘n turn” again.
