Solar and Wind Technology on the Rise

We are now seeing more advancement in solar power technology, we are witnessing a resurgence in solar power systems. Though solar panels still absorb solar energy when it’s cloudy outside, it produces more energy when they’re exposed to direct sunlight. Solar power systems are therefore much more effective in places where there is a lot of direct sunlight. Also, solar power systems produce more power during longer days naturally, so in places where there is not to much sunlight during the day solar power systems may not be the best option. You could how ever consider a Solar and Wind power combination. A small monthly payment is then added to your utility bill until the system is paid off. Given the cost savings of solar water heaters, this essentially means you get the system for free. Showing that the state is serious about solar, it has offered outrageous tax credits to commercial property owners as well. It also gives you the option to make one that is portable and can be brought to picnics, camping, and other outdoor activities and yes, it can power almost any thing that uses electricity/ Yes, even your laptop. There is no right time to gradually shift your dependence from conventional fossil fuel electricity sources to wind and solar power than now. DOE has made an ongoing effort to work with the building industry; federal agencies; utility providers; solar energy developers and installers; lending institutions; city and state governments; and many other organizations, both private and governmental to remove the various barriers that have traditionally held back the widespread use of solar energy. The DOE doesn’t take a direct role in local or state activities, and doesn’t offer financial aid to install solar energy devices or systems.
