Courthouse on Manor Row to Be Converted to Serviced Office

Bradford based property developers will soon finish converting the former courthouse located on Manor Row into serviced offices offering state of the art facilities to businesses here. The project is hoped to help small businesses immensely.

The Bradford Chamber of Commerce has high hopes fro the project which they believe will provide a cost effective and low investment option to small businesses and start-ups which would like to have an office located in the heart of the city. The building once completed will house a number of serviced offices which will bring many advantages to such business.

The newly built offices will have technologically advanced features like biometric access systems, hi tech facilities, WiFi broadband and video conferencing options. After completion, the building will contain flexible spaces, serviced offices, meeting rooms and a conference hall with a chandelier. A virtual office will also be part of this structure and will help small businesses gain a foothold in the bustling business district.

The project has been undertaken by Sheraz Malik and the new office block will be called Malik House after the developing company. The Malik House scheme will convert the Victorian era building which once housed the barristers’ chambers for the Country Court and later the Inland Revenue office. The work is expected to be complete on the Grade II building by March this year. The adjoining country court will also be developed into apartments by another developer.

These serviced offices are expected to fulfil some of the huge demand for desk space Bradford. Although the economy is improving at a slow pace, demand here for such flexible office spaces is not restricted.
